The IPARGS Biosafety Committee aims to ensure that research, teaching, technological development, production, and service provision activities using recombinant or synthetic nucleic acid molecules, hazardous biological materials, genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and their derivatives are conducted within safety, quality, and ethical standards.
